I was born and raised in Canada, but moved to Palo Alto in 1972 and have lived in the area ever since. Trained as a biologist, I was employed as a Research Associate at Stanford University for several years, working on research projects, designing laboratories, and participating in the teaching program at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

I obtained my California Real Estate Sales license in 1980, and quickly found that my teaching experience and the thoroughness and attention to detail required for successful experimentation and laboratory design served me well in my new career. Attention to detail and effective communication are essential when preparing and negotiating an offer or explaining the fine details of the contract or disclosures to a client.

I find great pleasure and satisfaction in working with my clients. The variety, the fresh challenges that accompany each transaction and the opportunity to meet, work with, and befriend new and fascinating people every day make the real estate business extremely exciting and rewarding.
